After a severe hailstorm damaged HVAC equipment at WNCC, SES collaborated with the college’s insurance carrier to evaluate the condition of the affected systems. Our team conducted a thorough condition analysis, provided recommendations for the insurance claim, and developed a phased approach to replace the damaged equipment, which included 80 pieces of exterior HVAC units.
Given the widespread damage, selecting energy-efficient equipment replacements was crucial. SES identified and recommended the most energy-efficient equipment to provide optimal operational efficiency for the campus.
Phasing was critical due to the varying operational levels across different buildings. SES worked closely with WNCC to ensure minimal disruption to college activities. Coordinating simultaneous roof replacements across all buildings posed a significant challenge. However, through stringent collaboration and detailed alignment with the college’s schedule, SES successfully executed the HVAC and roof replacements, saving considerable time and money.
