SES is serving as the Project Commissioning Authority for the 190,000 SF, $80M new construction of the UNMC CORE Building which will serve as the cornerstone of UNMC’s new Saddle Creek Campus. The facility will support computer-based research and wet lab-based research for drug discovery, oncology research and other strategic research areas at UNMC.
SES is providing design, construction and occupancy phase commissioning services for all systems serving the building’s various areas including wet labs, dry labs, technology hubs, administration space, and hybrid working spaces. This project has ambitious energy goals with an EUI of 80 to meet the aggressive standards of UNMC.

SES will be utilizing remote monitoring technology and automated testing to help meet the demanding turnover schedule of this project. In addition to helping meet the aggressive EUI goals, SES is also developing the Owners Project Requirements (OPR) and deploying remote monitoring and analytics software.
