UCHealth Eastview Medical Complex
This 122,000 SF, 3-story medical complex was made up of an ASC and MOB including outpatient surgery with 2 OR’s (and 2 future OR’s), Pre-Op, Post-Op, Sterile Processing, Urology, Neurology, Women’s Center, Orthopedic, Imaging, Lab and Testing.
SES’s scope of work included but was not limited to: commissioning peer review, assembly of OPR, witnessing of equipment start up and testing, assemble of testing plan, leading Cx team meetings, assembly of project web-based commissioning tracking software, review of construction, review and testing of envelope, and assembly of final Cx report.
The SES team was engaged with active controls integration meetings, working with the GC to define commissioning milestones on the master schedule, and regularly leading commissioning meetings and supporting field observations.
During our Cx process we identified energy savings and clarity with improved control sequences. We also performed blower door and room pressure testing of OR and central sterile spaces. During post- occupancy we performed BIM and asset management services.
