Nebraska Methodist Hospital ED Expansion
SES performed construction and occupancy phase commissioning services for the Emergency Department (ED) Expansion and Renovation which included 24 patient rooms, ambulance garage, isolation rooms, and patient waiting area.
Commissioning Services included field observation reports, field verification, equipment startup, and functional testing. All observations and issues were documented and included in a system manual that was delivered as part of the Final Commissioning Report.
During the first two phases of construction, SES ensured timely turnover avoiding delays in project completion. During the turnover phase, SES prioritized commissioning critical rooms and air handling units affecting patient care areas.
Our detailed approach during testing helped identify issues early resulting in expedited solutions around room pressurization and reliable AHU discharge air control. We also provided occupancy and operation phase Cx which includes seasonal and deferred testing, along with updating the Systems Narrative and Final Commissioning Report.
