CHI/CommonSpirit Health Family Health Clinic
One of several CHI clinics throughout the state, this new 28,700 SF facility features 39 exam rooms, including spaces for primary care, physical therapy, behavioral health services, and specialty care, as well as imaging services, a laboratory, and a retail pharmacy. The clinic provides a centralized destination for families in the Elkhorn community seeking convenient primary care and specialty healthcare services.
While meeting the CommonSpirit design standards and local CHI Health standards, SES collaborated with HGA, NexCore, and CHI Health to provide engineering solutions that ensured equipment procurement met the project schedule during a time when lead times for many pieces of mechanical and electrical equipment were extending beyond construction durations. When equipment delays were discovered by the contractor during construction, SES provided alternative equipment selections that met CHI Health’s standards and allowed the contractor to stay on schedule. Due to procurement issues, SES selected an alternate transformer to serve the x-ray area, allowing the contractor to remain on schedule.
SES provided innovative MEP design services to help create a state-of-the-art medical facility with top-notch medical equipment and a variety of amenities and areas to serve the growing community of Elkhorn. Our team also provided construction period services, working with the contractor and providing equipment alternatives, design clarifications, and other miscellaneous solutions to the overall project.
