Commissioning

Commissioning works with the design, construction, and facility operations team to ensure that equipment and systems are installed properly and functioning at the optimal efficiency level and meet the client and operational expectations. This role spends significant time on construction sites and existing buildings assessing and testing systems to improve efficiencies and make recommendations for improvement. This position needs to have a rounded knowledge of HVAC systems, building automation systems, lighting, building envelope, and electrical systems. An individual in this position is responsible for creating and maintaining positive professional relationships with all disciplines involved in the project.
